Start Wherever You Are

I’ve had a few weeks where the harder I work the more I need to do and the more I need to add to my “TO DO LIST”.  My clients are talking about this feeling of overwhelm too.

It’s moments like this that I need to take myself in hand and ask:

• What’s the most important thing to attend to in this moment?
• How can I make this easier?
• How do I weave joy and enjoyment into this moment, when all I can see is yet another thing to attend to, and a growing mountain of work?

And then I remind myself that each and every moment is a chance to start again. Each moment is the opportunity to make a choice and attend to what is most important.  

It seems to me that this is always the reality, whether I feel overwhelmed or not. Almost always it comes down to this simple choice – “How do I choose to show up in this moment?” All I can ever do is to make this choice and then start wherever I find my self..
