“Imagine that life is whispering yes. Yes to all beings, and yes to you.  Even the things you’ve said no to are saying yes to you.”
 Rick Hanson
When we are wanting to turn up more in our lives and embrace our own edge to expand what’s possible for us there are many places we can start. These places are where we can start to harness the power of saying “Yes” in our lives.

Here are a few ideas to get you started.
  1. Saying “Yes” to your needs whether that is the need for more time to yourself or the need for more exercise, more love, healthier food, or to deeper connections - all of which help you to connect with those you love, have fewer late nights, less alcohol or less sweets, or more sleep.
  2. Saying “Yes”, to opportunities, to attempting something new you haven’t tried before.
  3. Saying “Yes”, to possibilities for new adventures, challenges, and experiences.
  4. Saying “Yes”, to things that are outside your comfort zone that feel slightly scary.
  5. Saying “Yes”, to things that break old habits, and routines that limit restrict and constrain you and suck the joy out of your life.
  6. Saying “YES”, to learning new things about yourself, about others and about life.
  7. Saying “Yes” to building new friendships and connections with others.
  8. Saying “Yes”, to experiencing changes that feel uncomfortable and at the same time exciting and edgy.
  9. Saying “Yes”, to unexpected invitations that pull you out of your comfort zone and expand what’s possible.
  10. Saying “Yes”, to deeper levels of inquiry and learning as a coach and a leader, to putting into practice the very skills and modes of inquiry that you advocate and encourage your clients to adopt.
  11. Saying “Yes”, to bringing your whole self to your coaching and your life (head, heart and spirit).
“You have to accept whatever comes and the only important thing is that you meet it with the best you have to give.” – Eleanor Roosevelt
