When Anindita and I spoke to Jane Morgan about leadership and what it really takes to develop leadership in yourself and others our conversation touched on several factors that Jane saw as essential including: psychological safety, the need for connection, the importance of finding your voice as a leader if you want to have an impact, the significance of cultivating relationships and not isolating yourself, and much, much more. As Jane said of her experience in her various leadership roles, “You can’t miss an opportunity…..it was tough. It is hard, it gave you hope for the future. It was fun.” Jane is the director of Jane Morgan Consulting, a consultant and coach, and former HR executive. A passion for connecting people to their talent and potential is a thread that flows through all of Jane’s work and evident in this conversation.
