Have you ever wondered what such a leadership path looks like? And what might be possible for you if you started to live in a way that enabled you to respond more and more to what matters most to you?
In this month's Leadership Stories Podcast, Anindita and I spoke with David Mahon. David is a HR business partner for a large organisation in Brisbane and he exemplifies these qualities. He is very humble in the way he speaks about his achievements and approach to leadership. Nevertheless, his passion and commitment are unmistakable. He provides a superb example of the difference it makes when we choose to act on and respond to what matters to us and what is calling us forward. David is a passionate advocate for the LGBTQI+ community and in our conversation with him you will hear the courage and conviction that has fuelled his career and the way he chooses to live. In our conversation, David recommended a book “Writing Down The Bones” by Natalie Goldberg. He told us that he believes this book is about so much more than writing, that it is a guide to a life.
